Description
This is a view looking into Otter Cove, after Otter Cliffs, in Acadia National Park near the end of the trail. The ocean looks particularly blue from this angle because of all of the surrounding influencing the color of the water.
It is one of my favorite spots along the shore trail. You hike up to Otter Cliffs and then down the other side of it for quite a ways and eventually you will turn the corner and see this lovely scene.
Afterwards, it does seem like a big climb back up to the cliffs, but it is good exercise.
This is my own original photography.

OK, that settles it. I'm on my way! LOL. I cannot believe your wonderful photos of the country you enjoy living in. So beautiful.
Lise Winne replied:
Yes, it is beautiful! One of the few coastlines left not surrounded by buildings.
