This piece was made for Abbie Shores's challenge, "Edit This" #18 located here: https://fineartamerica.com/contests/edit-this-18.html?tab=overview

About Lise Winne
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have shown my work in galleries and through juried shows at art centers and museums. Some notables include The Delaware Art Museum, Haverford Center of the Arts,...

I love this piece Lise. Guessing what truths lie behind it, it is a simple and endearing little work of beauty and love and hope. Wonderful and heartening, while also a little poignant.
