This piece is inspired by Renaissance tapestries featuring millefleurs.
A ruby throated hummingbird comes to drink the nectar of some red flowers while a white butterfly hovers overhead. Perhaps it is a muse.
Featured flowers include black eyed susans, clovers, hummingbird nectar flowers, dandelion greens, little blue flowers, and many other flowers. Little white dots (pollen) float through the garden.
Millefleurs in French mean "many flowers" or "a million flowers", take your pick.
