A young man with long hair and a beard with light coming from his forehead and a sun (or halo) behind his head, is raising his arms in a way that says "Victory!"
Victory, healing and personal power represent an ability to transcend a difficult situation or situations. Sometimes survivors are also able to help other survivors, thus the subtle halo.

About Lise Winne
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
