This is a colored pencil drawing on bright white drawing paper. This is from my older work where I was experimenting with rug designs and tapestry designs and dates to 2002.
Featured are hearts of my own design with a border. Colors include red, lilac, green, gold and dark purple.
The lilac color is #a88cce (if you want to match the lilac in the drawing for your background color).
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
