This is the second and very altered version of "Silly Face in a Checkered Shirt Sitting Surrounded by a Purple Fantasy", except this one is macabre and shows him as a skeleton surrounded by black instead of purple, whereas the first one is light-hearted and fun. This one is a bit more like Halloween and might make a good present or statement for Halloween.

In Tarot symbolism, the Fool (or Jester) is a symbol for the unconscious, and the wisdom that people don't necessarily want to hear. The Jester in court speaks in riddles, poems and non-sequiturs to keep royal figureheads from looking at him as a threat (fools are exempt from having their heads lopped off, in other words).

Now, a skeletal one probably represents a Fool or Jester that is dead in some way, or is not being heard at all. He has disappeared from sight, although his essence remains and haunts, in some very subliminal ways, people who knew him as he was before. Maybe some of his past words still get through to the conscious mind.

Stars represent inspiration, dreams, pursuits, creative brilliance, and the ability to understand divine guidance.

Purple is symbolic of royalty, extravagance, wealth, grandeur, mystery and magic. Whereas light yellow is about simple joys, clarity, and the intellect.

Pieces from my "Silly Characters and Creatures" collection of works might work as a grouping of pillows for a child's room, or serve as a small print on the wall.

While products like prints and greeting cards will have my signature, home decor products like pillows, duvets, blankets and shower curtains will not to keep with tradition.
