In this piece, dayglow colors are emphasized. Purple and gold predominate which are opposites on the color wheel. There are also some red highlights here and there.
Pictured is a pigeon on top of a fence looking down at an egg in the garden. There are potted plants and a low wall, and hedges in the background. Details and lots of textures abound throughout the piece.
This piece might be good in a dark gray room where you need a lot of warm colors, something to add a little pizzazz and spice.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
