Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This piece started out as a hand drawing that I added some color to, and then I ran it through several filters in photoshop and saw a happy surprise: it actually looked like a batik, complete with wax lines and everything! Nothing planned, nothing that I could re-trace.
Anyway, this piece has a home decor element to it. Imagine a big canvas print of this on the wall and then a duvet or small pillows on the bed. Maybe some other pillows in solid colors to match the colors in this piece! Or imagine this piece in the dining room -- calm colors for a calm eating experience. Or imagine this in a doctor's office atmosphere -- calm colors for patients.
Featured are some butterflies, vines, ferns, various plant leaves in mint green, light green, olive green, grass green and dark forest green. And maybe a little bit of Irish green too.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
